The Gloria Kriete Foundation holds the conviction that, by joining forces, we can advance towards more ambitious goals, reaching a greater number of people and generating a significant impact in the lives of families and communities. Therefore, we establish strategic partnerships with various national and international organizations across different sectors, creating an extensive network of collaboration to achieve shared objectives.
Since its inception in 2007, the Oportunidades Program has aimed to empower at-risk Salvadoran youth with limited economic resources by providing tools to transform their lives and their surroundings. The main purpose is to reduce the educational gap, shaping integral citizens capable of facing any challenge. Its methodology combines technical knowledge and soft skills, offering an innovative curriculum tailored to current technological demands. It is currently the only program providing complementary academic excellence, holistic Higher Education, and employability access, guiding young people through three phases with coaching support.

Helping Those Who Help from the Gloria Kriete Foundation stands out as one of the most influential social initiatives in El Salvador. It seeks to generate a collective impact for social development, involving key sectors in addressing several issues ranging from education and health to clean water supply, food security, infrastructure, and environmental protection. This initiative directs its funds towards three specific areas: NGOs, Social Entrepreneurs, and Community Development. Additionally, the program has implemented training support that encompasses community projects and social enterprises, fully funded by FGK. Five years ago, the Gloria Kriete Foundation committed to using technology to reduce social gaps, collaborating with prominent international partners and becoming a local leader in spearheading the use of digital platforms. Thus, the "Tu Chance" program was born, driving digital innovation by offering free platforms that stimulate learning, professional development, and employability among the Salvadoran population. Through this program, the aim is to promote the use of digital tools through innovation and personal transformation. The program provides Salvadorans with opportunities and free platforms that enhance learning, professional development, and employment prospects.

The Gloria Kriete Foundation recognizes the importance of collaborating in social initiatives through programs designed to work alongside other institutions. Currently, FGK is supporting six programs executed by external organizations, in addition to its three permanent programs. This contribution represents a continuous commitment to management pillars through the execution of high social impact projects.
The Gloria Kriete Foundation, established in December 2004 at the initiative of Doña Gloria's seven children, is a non-profit organization primarily created to perpetuate the memory of Doña Gloria and to instill in future generations the altruistic spirit with which she lived.
Over the last 18 years, the Gloria Kriete Foundation has impacted over 3.2 million Salvadorans in the areas of health, education, employability, community development, entrepreneurship, technology, innovation, and the environment.
We believe that all human beings deserve to access tools that allow them to have equal opportunities and thus change their own living conditions and those of their surroundings.
Social Investment:
A More Sustainable and Equitable Future for All
As profound social challenges demand that we find ways to mobilize our resources; seeking effective long-term solutions, I can say that we have found the right path with a collaborative and strategic approach.
The shared understanding of key issues and success indicators of this approach has allowed us to make the right social investments to improve the quality of life for people in vulnerable situations.
We are facing a paradigm shift that could greatly improve how we address the world's toughest challenges. Stakeholders across all sectors in society are breaking away from their historically defined roles, merging profits and social impact to forge new paths, all for the benefit of people.
I have no doubt that society benefits most when all parties work together and when the economic and social contribution that charities non-profits, and ADESCOS is recognized.
I am very pleased with the results of this year. Our permanent programs Helping Those Who Help, Oportunidades, and Tu Chance are evolving and innovating. The programs we support have also grown with the support of our team.
Thanks to all the people who are part of the foundation. Each one of you is important for the impact we generate throughout the country. I am grateful to our strategic and financial allies who see our institution as a partner in their intentions and desire to be a catalyst for change. Thanks to the social organizations and operational partners who, in the quest for solutions, have managed to shape solid projects to contribute to the sustainable and equitable development of El Salvador.
Building a Social Ecosystem Based on Innovation
It's the era of innovation. The world is undergoing unprecedented constant transformation, and we are approaching a critical moment: if we learn to leverage innovation as a means and not as an end, we can transform the world into a more just and empathetic place.
In the philanthropic sector, social innovation has more to do with defining problems and seeking new solutions in an effective, efficient, and sustainable manner.
At the Gloria Kriete Foundation, we have chosen to generate new social innovation processes. We highlight educational innovation in our programs, prioritizing advancement in digital transformation so that all people have access to educational tools that allow them to have a better future through our Tu Chance platform.
In Oportunidades, along with our partners, we have created a curriculum that allows us to equip young people with skills and competencies that prepare them for the future through innovative teaching and learning methodologies and the use disruptive technology.
The essence of social innovation lies in a process that seeks to identify specific needs and offer solutions that can prove their effectiveness and replicate them once demonstrated. With Helping Those Who Help, we manage to finance and provide tools that help organizations strengthen their ability to generate impact.
All permanent programs and those we support in different social sectors, are initiatives that are making a difference in the lives of countless people.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated foundation members for their hard work and commitment. To our partners who share the same goal with us, your support propels us forward, and we are grateful to have you on our team.

Aprendamos Juntos provides early childhood education from birth to six years old, aiming to foster comprehensive development in key areas such as language, socio-affectivity, fine and gross motor skills, and sensory perception. Early stimulation is approached in a playful manner, using play as an educational tool.
In the early education process, parents, mothers, and/or caregivers are actively involved. Through specialized workshops, they are taught techniques to strengthen early stimulation. The program facilitates the development of psycho pedagogical instruments, providing participants with tools they can use at home to continue stimulation. This program is implemented in rural areas of Sonsonate and Ahuachapán, emphasizing its commitment to child development in specific communities.
